Getting started
Welcome to the course on Communication and Coordination. You are beginning a journey that will further develop your skills to communicate and coordinate.
Before you get started, take time to meet your course facilitators and read the
Course Overview to understand what we'll be covering. If you have any questions, visit the
Learner Community Forum to chat and message with the course facilitators and fellow students.
Remember that you are part of a team -- be sure to introduce yourself and upload a photo to your profile. Bonus: You can complete the online modules before or after the workshop. It's a sneak preview to ensure that you get the most of your upcoming face-to-face workshop. We advise you to set aside about 12 hours of your time to complete the online course before the workshop. As you are a trailblazer in this course, we encourage you to share your ideas and honest feedback. Kindly offer your suggestions for improvement OR notify us of any errors using this link:

Don't forget to take the quick survey: '
How confident do you feel?' At the end of the course, you're bound to feel super confident, so you'll have the chance to take the same survey again. The team can't move the ball forward without your guidance and input. Thanks in advance for your help.
As part of the support resources, check out the Glossary of Common Concepts and Acronyms. If you have words or ideas to add to the glossary, we invite you add them. Help everyone by adding references and links to websites you find useful. We're all in this together, so it's important that we share ideas and information among ourselves.
OK, let's get started! If you missed it the first time, you can Reset User Tours (Link on the bottom left of the page) and read the Navigation Tips. We offer a short Orientation Course to help you practice the various learning activities. The next steps on your journey kick off with the Rift Valley Fever case study. It's a compelling tale of your country and the friendly country of Neighborville. Links to the case study are conveniently located at the top of each page, so it's easy to go back and review. Need a reminder about what's happening in Neighborville? Click/ tap the link and it's yours.
Thanks for being part of the team. We wish you every success on your learning journey. You're going to be great.
