 Grandparents and extended families are doing their best to care for the orphans. But many of them are older themselves, burdened by physical disabilities associated with aging.

 The ECOWAS Department of Gender and Social Affairs has found your earlier response strategy lacking in terms of its approach to ensuring gender equity.
